In her recent interview, Karate Kalyani shared about the hardships she faced to reach the stage where she is Today. 'Casting Couch exist in every field, not just in the Film Industry. Women have been facing sexual harassment everywhere. In Software field, Hugging and Kissing isn't a big deal. But here, Such things will be blown out of proportion. During my initial days in the Industry, I received indecent proposals but never did I encourage such things. Nobody could trouble us if we are mentally strong. Everything depends on how we present ourselves,' she opined.
Kalyani disclosed that a Film Personality offered her Rs 50,000 per month to do whatever he asks her to do and even approached her with a bond paper. She added, 'He asked me to vacate the house after I had rejected his indecent proposal. After that, I got shifted to another rented accommodation. That Actor has already got fade out. Had if I accepted the indecent proposal, I wouldn't have spoken about it daringly'.
