'Katamarayudu' is a remake of Tamil hit 'Veeram' starring Ajith and Tamanna. Still, This Mass Entertainer is getting a wide release in Tamil Nadu.
The total screen count of Tamil Nadu is less than 1,000. Even films of Top Tamil Stars would release in only 500-800 screens.
Usually, Star-Studded Telugu Films will release in 50 to 90 screens in Tamil Nadu. But, 'Katamarayudu' is being released in 170 screens in Chennai alone. It's purely the stamina of Powerstar!
Makers are confident that 'Katamarayudu' will have a good run at all the mass circuits. So, A wide release is being planned and most of the single screens will screening this Pawan-starrer from March 24th.
