He commented that "Senior lyricists like Veturi, Sirivennela scold the director if there is no proper story.. we are not coming across such people now". On the other hand, he answered to a particular question on items songs that "There is nothing wrong in item songs". He has also spoken on the controversy of singers remuneration. He responded on the issue saying that "If they feel remuneration is less why are they going to those music directors.. if they are going to them again means.. they are fine with the remuneration".
