Interestingly, in Tollywood, the top position is unanimously given to SS Rajamouli who made the Telugu cinema reach across the globe with his movie Baahubali. So, the competition is always in the second place and to be precise; the discussion is about the top director excluding Rajamouli.
Sometime back, the competition existed between Trivikram Srinivas, Sukumar, VV Vinayak, Sreenu Vaitla, Puri Jagannath, Boyapati Srinu and others but over the years, many directors from the list have tasted flops and moved away from the second position.
