Hum Tum Director To Direct Ramayana

Hum Tum and Fanaah are still remembered as popular romantic movies. Hum Tum is still revered for its comedy and narration.
The director of those films, Kunal Kohli after their success couldn't repeat the same with his next movies and decided to take a break from direction.
He announced a Telugu film with Tamannah and Sandeep Kishan, but the movie seems to have been shelved after few days of work.
Now, he announced his next film to be an adaptation of Ramayana, titled, Ramyug.
About the movie, he said, "I think there is nothing more historic, progressive and modern than Ramayana. We think we are very modern and progressive because of the language we use and see in the films, but the thoughts and your way of life can never be outdated. They will always be modern.â
We have to wait and see, whom he has cast in the epic characters of Rama and Sita.
