Raj Tharun got a lucky chance with Uyyala Jampala to be launched by Annapurna Studios. The movie became a good success too.
Post that he found back to back successes. Off all those, Kumari 21F became an identity for him and Hebbah Patel. After that, he got an year break between his releases and everything turned upside down.
He decided to release as many as he can in last 12 months and none of them clicked at the box office. Normally, the lucky producer for many actors, Dil Raju comes to the rescue of them.
For Raj, even he couldn't help him. Lover collected just 50 lakhs on first day and it did not pick up on the weekend. In fact, total run collections could be less than 2 crores over a budget of 7 crores.
