Mahesh Babu is going around the town in Hyderabad and Chennai to promote his movie, Spyder directed by A.R. Murugadoss. The movie is a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil, so the team is looking to grab more eyeballs with some interesting promotions.
Even though in Telugu, the promotions have been underwhelming, the interest regarding the project is at its all time high. The advance bookings are like never before and trade experts are predicting records in Overseas markets and at domestic markets too. But to disappoint the fans, Mahesh has revealed a small detail from the movie and we think, this piece of information will affect fans enthusiasm.
Mahesh in an interview revealed, "The robotic spider we used in the promo or first glimpse is just a metaphor and the film is not a science fiction with toys and gadgets. Even though hero is a spy, he is not a James Bond, here. We tried to give it a realistic touch as well, while there are some outlandish elements in the story. There are many interesting things in the movie and we wanted people experience them in the theatre rather than spoiling it before!" His reasoning seems to be logical, but those who have expected some huge sci-fi elements by watching the first glimpse, will definitely be disappointed.
