Mahesh's Postmortem On Spyder Failure

Mahesh Babu is aggressively promoting his movie, Bharat Ane Nenu and the movie is releasing on 20th April.
His fans are expecting the movie to become a huge blockbuster like 'Srimanthudu', directed by Koratala Siva.
This one is also directed by Koratala Siva and even though, there is a second film sentiment for Mahesh Babu, this time, he believes he will break that sentiment and delivery another hit.
In one of his interviews, he talked about why Spyder, his previous movie, which had lot of hype, became such a huge disaster.
The actor said, "AR Murugadoss and I thought we should make the movie as a bilingual. So, he had to balance my star status in both the languages. I am big star here but in Tamil, I don't know how many will identify me. So, to balance this factor, he went with a Tamil conviction. He concentrated more on making the movie in Tamil style. Had we concentrated on the story and made in any one version, where either my star status was addressed or the story was highlighted, the movie fate would have been different."
Mahesh Babu agreed that they went over ambitious with the project and they should have imagined such result is a possibility beforehand.
