Mahesh Babu in Bharat Ane Nenu, Spyder, Srimanthudu, Brahmostavam did have not show off his muscular body. In Maharshi for brief period, he did but again the character changes to soft guy.
In Sarileru Neekevvaru, he is playing a military personnel and to look like the character, he decided to go muscular. He is showing off muscle in the film.
