Noted Author and Columnist Devdutt Pattanaik reacted on the statement of 'Kabir Singh' Director in this way: 'True lovers slap each other, according to Bollywood. But certainly not according to the Puranas'.
In reply, Lakshmi Manchu wrote: 'Oh God not all of Bollywood..just one sad filmmaker! Most of us believe in love, song, dance and friendship in our movies. Keep these beautiful pictures coming'.
As expected, Lakshmi Manchu received backlash from the Netizens backing 'Kabir Singh' Makers. Some of them had even recalled the movie scenes in which Mohan Babu assaulted Women Artistes including Actresses.
