Manoj reprised the role of former LTTE Chief Velupillai Prabhakaran in his upcoming flick 'Okkadu Migiladu' directed by Ajay Andrews Nuthakki. He gained oodles of weight to lookalike Prabhakaran. This particular still is that of Manoj appearing as LTTE Supremo in the 90s.
Prabhakaran founded Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. He led the Civil War like movement in Sri Lanka for a period of 25 years. 'Okkadu Migiladu' is based on based on real-life incidents during the Civil War which claimed the lives of 15 lakh refugees. The Civil War episode was shot for 25 days at Parawada near Visakha.
