Mohan Babu has become highly selective with his movies and he is waiting for good stories from a long time. Like him even the star heroes have started waiting for patiently for good stories and when they find them they are being part of the movies with such a story without giving second thoughts. Dhanush, the young rising star of Tamil Cinema decided to direct and write a movie in Tamil and the movie released as Pa. Pandi, this April.
With Raj Kiran as hero, the movie said the story of an old stuntman who goes on a bike ride to meet his first love. He talks about his love with his other biker friends and we see him sharing what all he had to go through in his life, to reach a position in his in today. After watching the movie, Rajnikanth suggested to Dhanush that he should look to remake the film in Telugu with his friend, Mohan Babu as the hero.
He personally called and suggested him to watch the movie. Also, arranged for a special screening. Mohan Babu liked the movie decided to go ahead with the remake. As he had done a surgery for his right leg he could not start the movie immediately and with his Guru, Dasari's demise he took some time off to recover. In the meanwhile, people started saying that the actor is not interested in the movie. But now, we hear the actor will start the shooting for this movie soon and Subramayam Siva, who assisted Dhanush for the movie will direct the movie in Telugu. Other cast and crew details are yet to be known!
