#MeToo Not A Movement, Its Fashion: Top Star

Malayalam Superstar Mohan Lal stirred a controversy by daring to say he doesn't consider #MeToo as a movement. 'No major problem in the Malayalam Industry. #MeToo isn't a movement, it's just craze…turning out to be a fashion. Such campaigns will have a short lifespan,' he told in Dubai.
The 'Manyam Puli' Star was in UAE for a charity fundraised Onnanu Nammal scheduled to happen on December 7th this year. When the foreign media tried to question him further on the #MeToo, Lal tried to skip the topic saying he doesn't knew much about it but told even men will have such painful stories to recount. He went on to say only the victims should speak about them, not him.
Mohan Lal lose respect people have for him by revoking the ban on Hero Dileep while he was serving as AMMA President. And now, He made disrespectful comments on the #MeToo Movement. How could he say there is problem at all in Mollywood when a Star Hero conspired to kidnap and molest a popular Heroine? Malayalam Movie Association has given clean chit to Dileep even before the Court passed the judgement on the sensational case. What a shame?
