No One Approached Me For Mahanati: NTR

Legendary actress Savitri biopic 'Mahanati' is one of the crazy upcoming films in Telugu. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film's cast is increasing with each passing day. There were some reports in the past that Jr. NTR was approached for playing Sr. NTR role in the film. There were even some reports that NTR has given his nod to play his grandfather role. Surprisingly, Junior is saying that no one has approached him from 'Mahanati' team.
He said that "It's not true that I'm essaying the role of my grandfather. In fact, no one has approached me till now. There is no rule that I have to do the role. Anyone can do it. But it is very tough to act like him." As Tarak gave clarity that he was not approached, it is interesting to see who will play the legendary NTR role in the film. On the other hand, Tarak didn't say whether he is willing to play NTR role or not if he is approached.
Keerthy Suresh is playing the titular role in the film. Dulquer Salman, Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Shalini Pandey are also part of the star cast. The shoot if 'Mahanati' is going on in Godavari districts now.
