Is Nag-Dhanush Multistarrer Shelved?

Nagarjuna is maintaining beard look with a short haircut from few months. The actor previously said that he doesn't like to maintain one look all the time as he feels change denotes to something new and fresh.

But few Kollywood media reports are suggesting that the multi-starrer in the direction of Dhanush might have been kept on hold or even got shelved.
As the actor announced Asuran with Vatrimaran, his Vada Chennai director in his own production, many think this movie might not be happening now.
Also, there is a talk that the multi-starrer production house, Thenendal films is going through financial downtime. We have to wait and see, if those assumptions are true?
As Dhanush is known for wrapping up multiple Projects in quick time, he could be closer to finishing the multi-starrer and hence got ready to start Asuran!? We can't say that sure too.
