Did Nag Lose His Magic Touch?

Akkineni Nagarjuna is not just a senior star who commands great following but he is a successful producer and a shrewd businessman also. If we talk about Nagarjuna's production ventures in the recent past, the majority of them disappointed. In fact, the audience and trade circles are losing their faith in Nag's judgement of stories.

If we consider his last ten films as a producer only four films were successful. Uyyala Jampala.. Manam.. Soggade Chinni Nayana.. Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam were successful. On the other hand, Rajanna.. Bhai.. Oka Laila Kosam.. Nirmala Convent.. Hello.. Rangula Ratnam were turned down by the audience. Out of these six films, some of them were biggest duds and Nag was severely criticised for producing such films.

Nag is known for his magic touch when it comes to films. He is known for making last minute changes for films.. suggesting re-shoots and making the film successful at any cost. But his last ten films prove otherwise. It seems Nag is clearly losing his judgement and industry folks are suggesting that he has to focus more on stories rather than the last minute repairs.
