Nagarjuna Akkineni held a press interaction to talk about the movie, Hello starring his son, Akhil as hero. He said it is the re-launch of his son after the debacle of Akhil. While he talked about he film, he also talked about the Nandi Awards controversy in his own style.

Nandi Awards that were announced recently came under lot of criticism as Manam did not win the Best Movie award opposing to Legend. Most of the movie lovers condemned this as a major snub and even though many celebrity tried to bring in their own movies into the picture, Manam remained a genuine case. Many did say about the movie but Nagarjuna and Akkineni family remained silent.

Finally, Nagarjuna talked at the press meet and said, "Manam is a special movie for all Akkineni family members and fans. It is the last film of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and people gave their hearts to the film. We don't need much more than that. They awarded their hearts and it is more than Oscar for us." He laughed out loud when media persons tried to probe further and repeated the same. He asked them to move forward to next question when some tried to persist. Well, he gave it back in his own charismatic way to Nandi Awards committee without hurling abused or shouting at the top of his strength.
