Natural Star As Legendary NTR?

Yesteryear great actress Savitri biopic 'Mahanati' raised curiosity levels of the audience ever since it was in the discussions stage. Considering the unmatchable fan following Savitri enjoyed and her association with other legends like NTR, ANR, SVR in blockbuster Telugu films, 'Mahanati' became a crazy project. Â
Though casting for the majority of the artists has been done and shoot is nearing completion, the makers are yet to finalise the actors to play NTR and ANR roles. It is known that the makers have approached Jr. NTR and Naga Chaitanya for playing the roles of their grandfathers. As both the actors were not keen to play the characters, the search is still going on for the suitable actors.
The latest buzz reveals that the director Nag Ashwin has approached Natural Star Nani to play NTR role. It is known that Nag Ashwin and Swapna Dutt have good rapport with Nani and they tried to convince him for NTR role. But Nani is yet to take a call on their request. Many people feel that Nani will be a good choice for the role because he is a fine actor and non-controversial person. They say that Nani might accept the offer.
