Hebah Patel scored back-to-back hits to emerge as the new Golden Leg of TFI. So, There is good buzz around 'Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends'. This entertainer is being directed by VV Vinayak's protege Bhaskar Bandi. Dil Raju offered the makers to use his banner for promotions upon knowing about the concept of the movie. Has the content lived up to the tall claims of the Top Producer?

Synopsis:

Raghava Rao (Rao Ramesh) loves his Daughter Padmavathi (Hebah Patel) so much that he never said 'NO' to any of her wishes. While Raghava Rao prefers an arranged marriage for his Daughter, Padmavathi opts for love marriage. She decides to pick up one among the three guys namely Nani (Ashwin Babu), Namo (Parvatheesam) and Gokul (Noel) for marriage. How the love journey went on and whom did Padmavathi marry at last forms the rest of the tale!

Performances:

No one except Rao Ramesh excelled in the movie in terms of performance. He is like a backbone and an asset for 'Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends'. Though his screen time is less, He steals the show with his trademark dialogue delivery and natural performance.

Hebah Patel kept repeating the same expressions again and again. She didn't emote well in the emotional scenes during Climax. Of course, There is ample glamour dose from her once again.

All the three Male Leads have very little to do. Out of them, It's Parvatheesam who impresses with his comic timing. Ashwin Babu and Noel are just okay. Tejaswi does her part with good ease.

Pros:

Rao Ramesh

First 15 Minutes

Climax

Cons:

Love Tracks

Comedy Blocks

Technicalities:

Sekhar Chandra's Music is alright. 'Mouname' & 'Waiting' are the two tracks which are hummable. Background Score lacked freshness. Cinematography by Chota K Naidu is flawless. Production Values are pretty nice. Story by Sai Krishna is routine. Some of the Dialogues penned by Prasanna Kumar hits the right chord. Debutante Director Bhaskar Bandi has done a decent job. Mostly, He tried to present the subject in a commercial format.

Analysis:

'Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends' have a heart-touching beginning and ending. Thanks to the brilliant performer Rao Ramesh! What we get to see in between is a boring narration. Despite ordinary story, loopholes in screenplay and illogical scenes, Audience step out of theaters with a feeling of watching a decent film only because of Rao Ramesh.

First 15 Minutes of the movie is very touching. Trouble begins after the shift of story from village to city life. From then, Everything goes on a predictable note. 'Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends' reminds us of Siddharth's 'Chukkallo Chandrudu' to some extent as both of them have similar themes.

Too many Pawan Kalyan references, Parody Songs and Comedy Blocks sans any logic weren't pleasing. Interval Bang is something anyone could expect. Director tried to rely on confusion-comedy in the Second Half. None of the love stories were dealt well. After plenty of silly scenes, The film takes a serious turn during pre-Climax and Rao Ramesh carries the film on his shoulders from then onwards.

Justification given to equation of Heroine with each of the Heroes through Rao Ramesh's character is impressive. Even the entry of Raj Tharun in the Climax is quite nice. The intensity which we find in the last 15 minutes is missing after the first 15 minutes and hence the mixed feedback.

Bottom Line: Watch It only for Rao Ramesh!
