What's wrong in comparison with other actors?

Normally, when an actor tries a different look or character in his movie, then people will look to compare him with other actor who played the similar role in another film. This has been a common practice and Harish Shankar, found mistakes even in these comparisons.
In the movie, Duvvada Jagannadam, Allu Arjun played the character of a Brahmin Cook and before him, Kamal Hasan, Jr. NTR and Chiranjeevi played the Brahmin character. Many compared his performance with the other actors and tried to write their opinion about the performance and how they liked it.
But Harish Shankar commented that it is wrong and we should not compare the various actors and rather we should try to look for the positives in their performance. Also, indirectly, Harish Shankar hinted that it is wrong to talk negative about their movie and such kind of attack is really in a bad taste.
Even the social media is talking about him and his comments all day today. Hope, at least now, Harish would try to talk profoundly with his movies rather than with his words!
