Earlier, Producers used to rely on established distribution houses to generate good revenue in the Overseas. But now, Most Producers have been preferring new players to obtain the best possible result.
Well-Established Distribution Houses have been resorting to monopoly. They have been fixing the price Producer has to sell the distribution rights of a movie. Not much importance has been given to the promotions inspite of accepting their demands.
Producers realized that it's better to rely on New Distributors who will handle the project in a much more responsible manner apart from offering fancy prices. Distribution Rights of a Crazy Film which is scheduled to release next month were sold for a new player because of the same reason. This Project stars a Young Hero in the lead role.
If this approach turns out to be successful, Most of the crazy projects scheduled to release in the next one year might slip out of the hands of well-established Distribution Houses. It's a warning bell indeed..!
