Is Karthikeya-2 not happening?

Karthikeya, with Nikhil Siddhartha as hero and Chandoo Mondeti as writer-diector became a popular thriller in recent times.

The movie gave Chandoo a chance to move on for bigger things and he is working with Naga Chaitanya, on an ambitious project like Savyasachi.

After that, till recently, the talks were on, about a possible seqeul to the movie, Karthikeya.

There is always a chance to continue the story and Chandoo also mentioned that he is interested in continuing it as a franchise.

The latest reports from known and trusted sources suggest that the movie is not happening any time soon. Even though Nikhil and Chandoo, have been planning it from a long time, they decided to collaborate with another idea it seems.

We don't know the exact reason but Chandoo did not feel confident about the second hour of the film's script it seems. So, he decided to keep it aside for time being it seems.

This is just an hearsay and there is no solid proof about it. We have to wait for Savyasachi promotions to start, to know any further on this topic.
