Post the success of 'Srimanthudu' & 'Vedhalam', Shruti Haasan was flooded with offers but she turned down them citing her call sheets were full till early 2016. It was then few Telugu Producers approached her with lucrative offers which she couldn't reject.
In case of 'Majnu' which is 'Premam' Telugu remake, Shruti Haasan got paid Rs 1.5 crore even though there were two other actresses in the movie. No one could understand what made the Makers pay such huge amount to her, instead of roping Sai Pallavi who stealed the show in 'Premam' for the remake by paying just anywhere around Rs 50 lakhs. In fact, This is the highest remuneration ever charged by Shruti Haasan.
Starting her career by working as Assistant Costumer for 'Hey Ram' just for Rs 70, Shruti Haasan has come a long way to become one of the highest paid actresses down South and her hardwork has finally paid off.
