Directing a Rajinikanth film or sharing screen space with him is a dream for many. But an young director like Pa Ranjith has achieved this with just two films experience. He has directed 'Kabali' and he has teamed up with him once again for 'Kaala'. Getting an opportunity is a difficult thing.. but Pa Ranjith has thrown surprise to everybody by grabbing the opporunity to direct him once again.
Pa Ranjith's first two films received critical acclaim for the natural portrayal of the slums. Rajini was impressed with that originality shown by the director and gave him the opportunity for 'Kabali'. Like his first two films 'Kabali' story inherently touches the apsects of Dalits and their issues. Even his upcoming film 'Kaala' will have Dalit related issues. The reason is Pa Ranjith is a Dalit and he knows the Dalit issues better than anybody else.
Ranjith said to have struggled hard to become a director hailing from a poor Dalit background. He said to have faced descrimination because of his background. But he has overcome all the hurdles and he is a well established director now. Ranjith & his family met Rajinikanth recently and posed for a Photograph.
