Mahatma Gandhi's book 'Satyasodhana' has a big impact on Pawan Kalyan. Despite being poor in studies, He refrained from malpractices during examinations. He failed repeatedly in Intermediate and decided to call it quits thereafter.
Pawan Kalyan suffered from depression at a very young. He used to feel bad about not being able to compete with the youngsters in his age group. He had suicidal tendencies as well. Luckily, Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha motivated him to think positively & have clarity on what he wants to become in future.
Jana Sena Chief sees success and failure as parts & parcel of life. 'I accepted Johnny flop happily but people who were close to me were devastated. I thought to quitting film after Johnny but I did 22 films so far,' he says.
'Katamarayudu' is going to have a undercurrent social message. It will have all the commercial elements fans expect from Powerstar.
