Political Biopics Are On The Way

Whether it is Tollywood or Kollywood we cannot divide politics and films. When compared to the other states in South, the movie actors will have so much fan following here. They even make the actors into politicians as well. As the elections are approaching the political situations are also getting intense.
Based on the current political situations, so many movies are coming out in Tollywood with the political genre. Especially the filmmakers are showing interest in making the biopics of actors who turned into politicians. Initially, Nandamuri Balakrishna started the biopic of his father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao who was a legendary actor and a great politician. Director Teja is helming this project. Meanwhile, Anando Brahma fame director Mahi.V. Raghava planned to help the direct the biopic of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy with Mammootty as the hero. The movie is titled as Yatra. Interestingly both the movies are going to get released in January.
Also, the filmmakers are trying to do the biopics of the current Chief Ministers of the Telugu States, KCR and Chandrababu. However, the projects are yet to go onto the tracks. The biopics of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Bal Thackeray are also getting released. Let's see how many biopics will hit the screens before the elections.
