Even though 'Bahubali: The beginning' is a blockbuster and increased the market of Telugu films, it has its share of criticism. Some say that the scenes are copied from Hollywood films.. some say that there is not much story in it... some say that 'Eega', 'Magadheera' are better than 'Bahubali'.. so on and so forth. But everybody has unanimous opinion on one aspect.. i.e., Visual Effects(VFX) of the film.
Even great critics of Rajamouli agree that ..Rajamouli is a specialist in dealing VFX.. and 'Bahubali' is a visual wonder. Suprisingly Rajamouli said that all this credit goes to 'Bahubali: The conclusion' VFX supervisor Kamalakannan. He also worked for visual effects of 'Magadheera' also. Rajamouli said that Kamal is the only person he fights more than anyone else on the sets everyday. On the other hand, he said that Kamal is his teacher.. Kamal taught him the VFX right from the basics.
When a top director like Rajamouli says that Kamalakannan is guru in visual effects.. it is really a great honour for him. We all know that everybody is eager to know the answer for 'Why Kattappa Killed Bahubali'. Apart from this.. everyone is eager to watch the visual effects of 'Bahubali: The Conclusion' on screen. That shows the importance of Kamalakannan's VFX training to Rajamouli.
