Playing Don, Rajinikanth scored a memorable blockbuster 'Basha' in the 90s. He kept picking up Don-based subjects since then but wasn't able to deliver success. Yet, No lessons have been learnt from the failures of 'Kabali' and 'Kaala'.
Once again, Thalaivar decided to test his luck in the role of a Don. This flick would be directed by Karthik Subbaraj of 'Pizza' fame. While Rajini appears as Hostel Warden in daylight, He transforms into a Don during dark. Some resemblance could be found between 'Basha' and this new project.
Vijay Sethupathi, Simran and Nawazuddin Siddique will be essaying crucial roles in the next flick of Rajinikanth. Principal Shooting of this biggie is happening at Dehradun. Madurai Set has been built for the Chennai schedule starting from August 10th. The Unit will leave for Lucknow after this schedule.
Probably, Film with Karthik Subbaraj will be last feature film of Rajinikanth. He would be entering into electoral politics after the completion of this movie.
