Rakul Preet Singh started off her career with small, medium budget flicks but she went on to become a star heroine within no time. She is presently awaiting the release of 'Khakee'(Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru in Tamil) starring Karthi. The movie is slated for release on November 17.
Meanwhile, there is a talk going on in the Film Nagar that Rakul gave a strong warning to a director who was reportedly harassing her to sign his film. The director said to have worked with Rakul earlier for a small budget flick a few years ago. But the movie tanked at the box office. Now, the director prepared a lady-oriented script and he is after Rakul to sign the film. As the director didn't have a single hit to his credit, he is hoping that Rakul presence will get him the investors. But Rakul didn't show interest to sign the film.
The director didn't leave Rakul but started relentlessly persuading her to sign the film. Rakul said to have tolerated his pressure for quite some time as he was one of the directors who worked with her in the early stages of her film career. As the situation is getting out of hands, she reportedly gave him a strict warning that she will proceed legally which made him stop putting pressure on her.
