Ram Charan said no to Tamil director

By now it became very clear that Tamil flick "Thani Oruvan" will be remade in Telugu with Ram Charan in the lead. All these days it is felt that producer NV Prasad will remake the film, but it's being heard that DVV Danayya is going to jump into producer's shoes.
Buzz is that, initially tamil director Mohan Raja was expected to wield megaphone for Telugu version too. However Ram Charan is keen to work with Surender Reddy and demanded the producers to work with this Race Gurram director only but not Tamil director. For that reason, finally the project has fallen in Surender Reddy's hands which is now getting a new-screenplay treatment.
After the release of "Bruce Lee" on October 16th, this project's details will be announced.
