RGV Coverup Video Misfired?

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma may not believe in God but the saying perfects suit his situation now. Entire casting couch episode was revolving around Sri Reddy but Ram Gopal Varma entry gave a big twist to the episode.
His latest video claiming responsibility for influencing Sri Reddy to target Pawan to grab attention, trying to strike a deal of Rs.5 crores to settle Daggubati family matter with Sri Reddy is the hot topic now. Though it appears that he sincerely apologising for what he has done in the Sri Reddy episode, the logic is missing in his claims.
He said that he has influenced Sri Reddy to target Pawan to achieve attention because Kathi Mahesh also followed the same route in the past. Surprisingly, Sri Reddy has got enough attention without even mentioning Pawan name... then what is the additional attention she will get by targeting Pawan?
On the other hand, the Rs.5 crore deal issue is also raising suspicion on him. He claims he tried to settle the matter without the knowledge of Suresh Babu and he thought that he can talk to him later if Sri Reddy agreed to the settlement. But Sri Reddy is saying that Varma suggested her to demand Rs. 5 crores from Suresh Babu to settle Abhiram issue.
Many people think that RGV tried to cover up with the video as the audio tape of Sri Reddy-Tamanna Simhadri was out where Sri Reddy specifically mentioned about these two things. As part of damage control measures, RGV came up with the video accepting his mistake and apologising Sri Reddy and Pawan. By doing so he gave an opportunity to everybody to target him because he himself accepted the mistake.
