Completing the movie, creating the controversy and staying in the news, giving interviews in the TV channels and making some more allegations to bring hype about the film, gaining good opening collections as per the budget of the movie, though the buyers face losses, coming into the safe zone. In his career, director Ram Gopal Varma has done so many such things. But they all failed to work in the case of Officer.

As there is no content in the movie, RGV tried to create some controversies while doing the movie with Nagarjuna. But his plans actually failed as the Telugu audience went against him. The bad image Varma gained made Officer movie a disaster at the box office. When lack of content is the main reason, the controversies he created are the other reason behind the flop of the movie. However, both Nagarjuna and Varma are focusing on their upcoming projects. RGV is going to make a movie Bhairava Geeta in Telugu and Kannada languages. It is going to be a violent love story that runs with the village backdrop. The makers are going to show the love story of a person who stands against the feudal system in a realistic way. RGV team is bankrolling this project whereas Kannada actor Dali Dhanunjay is playing the main lead under the direction of Siddharth.

But the only doubt is who will trust Ram Gopal Varma brand in Telugu now? As per the talk, they are going to make some changes to meet the nativity of both Kannada and Telugu languages. But based on RGV's current market, the movie might not grab the attention and also it takes a long time for RGV to bounce back into the form. Let's see what happens..
