Producers Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra collaborated for the first time ever to make 'Ramayana' with a mammoth budget of Rs 500 crore. The trilingual flick (Telugu, Tamil & Hindi) which will be shot in 3D is going to be made in three parts.

On Day 2 of UP Investors Summit 2018 in Lucknow, Makers of 'Ramayana' signed an MoU with Uttar Pradesh Government to carry out the filming of the ambitious project in the state. UP's Principal Secretary & Film Bandhu Chairman Awanish Kumar Awasthi assured complete support for the mythological film.

Madhu Mantena declares 'Ramayana' is an attempt to retell Indian Mythology to all the generations making use of the technological advancements. He claims the works of Ananth Pai (Uncle Pai) of the Amar Chitra Katha comics has inspired him make India's most expensive film.

Until now, Who will be essaying the lead roles & who's gonna direct the epic hasn't been disclosed by the Producers. The choice would be pan-India Actors & Star Director for sure.
