Rana Daggubati started his career as a typical Telugu mass masala hero after a delightfully different debut movie, Leader. That did not work out for him.
He immediately decided to try out other languages as he got a Hindi movie chance like Dum Maaro Dum and even though it did not become a hit, it gave him many friends.
He became a good friend with Karan Johar that helped him to bring the producer on board for Baahubali. His look changed his fate and he started acting in all languages that he got an offer from.
He acted with Ajith in Arrambham in Tamil and Baby with Akshay Kumar in Hindi. These two films along with Baahubali changed his image completely.
He can now dream big and be part of big Hindi and Tamil films along with Telugu films. He got a chance to act in a 1971 war film, Bhuj: The Pride of India.
Ajay Devgn is acting as main lead in the film. Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Ammy Virk are acting in lead roles.
Along with this he will be seen in Housefull 4 and Haathi Mera Saathi. He also accepted Hiranyakasyapa in the direction of Guna Sekhar.
