Raja The Great, marked the second innings for Ravi Teja and also introduced his son, Mahadhan on screen as a child artist. Even though the content is marked to be routine, the film did collect huge due to the festival advantage. No other film released during the weekend and people watched the movie, despite of the mixed reviews and talk.
Ravi Teja expressed his happiness over the success and said, "I am really thrilled with the success and my entire team is all glowing. I like this positivity and this is a special film for me as the movie released after a long gap for me. Mainly, my son is also getting some messages from his friends and relatives. He is showing them to me and teasing me. I am happy with the hard earned success."
He also said that directors like Anil Ravipudi who have clarity of thought should maintain that clarity and not listen those "well-wishers" who damage the career. He thanked all his fans and youth who watched his movie and expressed his wish to continue giving successes further. He is gearing up to finish his Touch Chesi Choodu with Raashi Khanna and Seerat Kapoor.
