Sankranthi season is like a movie festival for Telugu audience. If a movie gains hit talk in that season then the collections take a hike at the box office. Almost all the actors and directors show interest to release their movies in Sankranthi season. There are so many movies which are slated to release for next year Sankranti as well. The first one to join the race is Power Star Pawankalyan's much anticipated movie Agnathavasi. Nandamuri Balakrishn's Jai Simha is also going to hit the theatres at the same time.
Now, Ravi Teja who made his comeback with the grand success of Raja the Great movie is also planning to release his upcoming movie in Sankranthi season. The shooting of his upcoming movie Touch Chesi Chudu is almost completed and the movie team are planning to release the movie for Sankranthi next year. Ravi Teja hit movies like Krishna and Mirapakai also hit the theatres during Sankranti season. The Touch Chesi Chudu team is also following the same sentiment and are planning to release the movie for Sankranthi. Anushka's Bhagmati movie and Raj Tarun's upcoming movie are also supposed to hit the theatres for Sankranthi.
Initially 2.0 movie release which is coming out in the crazy combination of superstar Rajinikanth and Director Shankar was also supposed to hit the theatres during Sankranti but LIC due to some technical issues the movie got postponed. So the other producers are planning to take this advantage and release their movies. However, this Sankranthi is really going to be a festive season for movie lovers.
