Reason Behind Nani Krishnarjuna Yuddham Failed

KrishnaArjuna Yuddham, Natural Star Nani's new movie released few days ago. The movie couldn't really rake in the moolah as expected.
Nani did give many back to back hits and last year, his Nenu Local and Middle Class Abbayi, MCA, became huge blockbusters too.
After such high, normally people should show interest but the movie couldn't even put in 65% of his normal openings over the four days of release.
Sunday evening shows did pull in some crowds but not enough to change the fate as off now.
Nani expected his character Krishna to click with the audience more than Arjun. But due to screenplay issues, the movie couldn't live upto the expectations.
The entertainment factor also did not work much. Well, for an opening, all such factors won't come into account for a star like Nani.
His pull should have been able to compel audience. Until KrishnaArjuna Yuddham, he never released his films among competition and that with big films.
Now, a big film, Rangasthalam is running successfully at the theatres and another big film, Mahesh's Bharat Ane Nenu is about to release. People are showing interest to see Rangasthalam again and waiting for Bharat Ane Nenu.
In such period, Nani seems to have come up with a film that could have been an average grosser if it wasn't released during the time.
