Director Sekhar Kammula is known as a class director who makes decent films without mass masala. He was going through a lean phase for several years but his last film 'Fida' turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office giving him a huge relief.
Sekhar Kammula has been working on the script for his next film for quite some and he has finally completed it. There is a talk that Dil Raju came forward to produce Sekhar's next film but the director said to have politely refused the proposal. Sekhar is planning to produce the film under his own Amigos Creations banner. It is known that it was Dil Raju who bankrolled 'Fida'.. the movie turned out to be a money spinner for him and it gave a much-needed hit to the director.
Now, Sekhar is planning a film with newcomers in his typical style. As he needs more freedom, he is reportedly making it on his own banner. There is another version that Sekhar wants to cash on the craze of 'Fida' with his next film.. so he is producing it under his own banner.
