Even the 'Time' magazine as revered, Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk as one of the best movies. But the fans of the director who saw his previous movies are wondering what makes this movie better than them? They are claiming that the movie is not as great as Inception or Interstellar and are unable to understand what makes Dunkirk good. Well, let us tell what we understood ..
Even though the movies made with intelligent plot lines and twists get high critical acclaim in Hollywood, they don't end up being box office successes. Nolan for them is more off a blockbuster director than a person who makes emotional movies. And he also, shot the movie for more than 65 days on the same Dunkirk beach with less known actors.
So, the critics who have a soft corner for Second World War based movies found this different take on evacuation during the war as an emotional ride. Even the director used all his intelligence to craft the movie to be high on emotions and so critics are praising the movie as one of the war classics and placing it besides the classics like Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List made by Spielberg.
