The movie is based on Stuartpuram robber Tiger Nageswara Rao. Renu Desai will be playing the role of Hemalatha Lavanam, daughter of a prominent Telugu poet Gurram Joshua. Late Hemalatha is a social reformer, who is known for her work of reforming dreaded dacoits in Chambal Valley.
