Casting couch discussion is continuing to grab the headlines ever since Harvey Weinstein incident rocked the Hollywood. The subsequent developments followed #Metoo campaign where several actors came out in open sharing their ordeals with the casting couch issue.
Bollywood actor Richa Chadha made some sensational remarks on the casting couch issue in an interview that "If you give me a pension for my life, take care of my safety, my family, ensure I'll continue to get work in as normal, my career will grow without any obstacles as it is now after I name and shame somebody, I will surely come up with names. Not just me but a million others will do that. But who will do that?"
Ever since Richa made these comments, she is flooded with requests to name the Harvey Weinsteins of Bollywood. Pressurised with the developments, Richa Chadha changed her version. She clarified on Monday that her comments didn't refer to her personal experiences. She tweeted that "I don't need security. I used the 'I' as an example to indicate that whistle-blowers don't have support from the ecosystem. Putting an end to this confusion once n for all. I have nothing to REVEAL. Plz leave me alone about this"
