Sachin loses to Dhoni!

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is regarded as the most popular cricketer ever. Being an Indian and carrying the weight of Billion Dreams on his shoulders, the man delivered more than anyone could ask for from 1989 since his debut to 2013, his last test match.
He is the only player to complete 200 tests, 100 International Hundreds and score more than 30,000 runs in all formats. Well, he is also a huge brand that made millions of dollars for Indian Cricket with his mere presence. He us regarded as GOD and due to him, cricket became a religion in India. But GOD lost to his devotee in the box office battle.
Cricketers like Sachin, Dhoni, Kohli command huge fan following and we don't know if ever we will a Kohli biopic but Dhoni and Sachin have released theirs and deservingly though. Dhoni movie directed by Neeraj Pandey got an opening of 20 crores on first day while Sachin managed a decent 8.4 crores.
Sachin commands such a huge fan following and his movie not being able to go past 20 crores mark is staggering. Many thought he would score more than that but the documentary style adopted by the makers did not help the movie. Not many wanted to spend a considerable amount to see the story of a man they've read and seen many times.
Ironcially, Dhoni in his biopic mentioned he is one of the devotees of Sachin and through his inspiration he took up the cricket as his passion. Still his story had more interesting points than Sachin's!
