Retaining success is never easy and many people know it is hard to perform at such level consistently. But filmmaking asks you for such kind of consistency all the time.
Sai Dharam Tej couldn't deliver a hit for past three years in six films but he managed to score an above average success with Chitralahari.
Movie became a film that recovered 75% in the first week after many of his films failed to even cross 10% recovery in the final run.
Now, his next film is with Maruthi Dasari and the director is known for he is own style of commercial films. Hence, Sai Dharam Tej is in a dilemma.
He wants to do more films like Chitralahari that give story, the first priority than other things. As off now, his market value has dropped so much that filmmakers doesn't have him as the first choice and that could hurt his chances to find better scripts.
