After marrying Naga Chaitanya, Samantha has become more careful in the selection of roles and has been appearing in various kinds of characters.
Despite doing commercial movie heroine roles in the starting of a career, the actress has been taking wise decisions lately. After remaking a Kannada superhit film 'U-Turn', the actress is now going to remake South Korean superhit film 'Miss Granny' in Telugu. Nandini Reddy of 'Ala Modalaindi' fame is helming this project.
The story is about a 70-year-old woman who magically turns into a 20-year-old lady. So, Sam will appear in two different shades in the film. Initially, Samantha was supposed to play both as a 70-year-old and 20-year-old. But it seems like the actress has changed her decision. She might have thought that acting in an old woman role might dent her image.
So, the movie unit roped in a senior actress Lakshmi to play the 70-year-old role and Samantha will play the 20-year-old role in the film. Naga Shourya is going to play a vital role in the movie.
