Samantha Is Always There To Support CS

Chinamyi Sripada kept facing discrimination in the Tamil Film Industry ever since she decided to lead the #MeToo Movement. She was ousted from the Dubbing Association after making sexual harassment allegations against Legendary Lyricist.

Samantha is always ready to support her Close Friend in every possible manner. Even though she herself dubbed for Mahanati and Super Deluxe, The Actress preferred Chinmayi for lending voice to her characters in Majili and Oh Baby. She, however, doesn't offer an impression that a helping hand was offered to the Dubbing Artiste. Instead, Sam says Chinmayi was preferred for attaining thick Godavari Accent required for the female lead in Oh Baby.

When quizzed about the fight against sexual harassment, Samantha claims to be proud of Chinmayi for standing up for the victims. She only wishes to see good things happen for the Playback Singer as someone who hadn't done anything wrong shouldn't be in a worse situation.

Chinmayi should be lucky enough to have a friend like Samantha. This wouldn't have happened without a film like 'Ye Maya Chesave'.
