Samantha Akkineni has made it evident that she is not afraid of experimenting and she can take up any role at any point of time.
She has a good sense of script judgement and that is working wonders for her. She even made sure that Naga Chaitanya gets a blockbuster with Majili.
Now, she wants to grow as big as Nayantara and Anushka Shetty at the box office. U-Turn was her first attempt at driving a film completely on her shoulders.
That movie did okay business for the genre but it did not firmly establish a market for her. Her second trail in achieving it is Oh! Baby.
The movie is a remake of Korean comedy, Miss Granny. So, the titular role actually belongs to senior actress Lakshmi. She transforms into Samantha as her age reduces miraculously.
So, can we expect Samantha try to imitate a bit of Lakshmi from 70's when she burst out into the cinema horizon? We don't know yet but Nandhini Reddy can pull off a good comedy and we expect she delivers big time.
