Three weeks after accusing Director Ravi Srivatsa of harassing her during the shoot of her debut movie 'Ganda Hendathi' which is the Kannada remake of 'Murder', Sanjjanaa Galrani apologized to the Filmmaker in the presence of prominent personalities of the Kannada Film Industry.

Earlier, Sanjjanaa alleged Ravi Srivatsa had forced her to do lip lock scenes and intimate sequences for more number of days. Joining the #MeToo Movement, She revealed: 'I was told there will be one kissing scene during the narration. It eventually gone up to 15 intimate scenes. When I questioned, The Director had yelled at Me and issued threats. My Father was ashamed of the way that film has shaped up. People assumed I had done those scenes as I wanted to, but it's not true'.

Ravi Srivatsa complained to the Karnataka Film Chamber and Directors Association saying Sanjjanaa has tarnished his reputation. Film Personalities such as Ambareesh, Rockline Venkatesh and Roopa Iyer intervened to settle the matter amicably. During the meeting at Ambareesh's residence, Sanjjanaa had apologized to Ravi Srivatsa. She conveyed the intention was to share her ordeal using the #MeToo platform, not to offend anyone.

A Victim apologising to the person against whom she made allegations is a first of its kind. Will it affect the #MeToo Movement?
