Synopsis:
Raghavarn Raju (Prakash Raj) and his wife Janaki (Jayasudha) reside in a village rnnamed Athreyapuram. Upon knowing about his wife's strong desire to see rnher children and grandchildren settled in foreign countries, Raghava rnRaju chalks out a strategy for a family get-together in the village. rnWhat's that strategy? Sharwanand has given a subtle performance. Audience will instantly connect with his character due to his natural performance.
Anupamarn who played a village belle in her debut impresses this time in a modernrn role. Even dubbing has suited the NRI role to the T.
Yet again, rnPrakash Raj and Jayasudha are the pillars of the movie. While Prakash rnshowed his true calibre in Climax, Jayasudha too has done a brilliant rnjob. Naresh steals the show as Bangarraju. Praveen, Prabhas Seenu and rnRacha Ravi has done justice to their roles.

Althoughrn Music composed by Mickey J Meyer remind us of 'SVSC', Songs such as rn'Mamathalu Panche', 'Nilavade' & the duet of Lead Pair were soothingrn to the ears. Background Score is okay. Camera Work by Sameer Reddy is rnso colorful. Especially, Picturization of songs is nice. Production rnValues are appreciable. Satish Vegesna scores brownie points both as rnwriter & director. Dialogues penned by him will hit the right chord.rn Though the story lacked freshness, Few Scenes penned by the Debutant rnwere good enough and he presented it in an impactful manner. He, rnhowever, falters a bit in the Second Half.

Writer-turned-Directorrn Satish Vegesna chose an age-old story and tried his best to present it rnin an lively manner. 'Shatamanam Bhavati' yet again proves that audiencern don't complain even if old subjects were recycled as long as it rnentertains. Neither Story nor Screenplay of this Sharwanand-starrer is rnfresh or exceptional but lively and convincing scenes makes it worth a rnwatch.
'Shatamanam Bhavati' offers what Telugus expect during a rnfestival like Sankranti. This film is all about human emotions and the rnimportance of joint families. Just alike 'Midhunam', An old couple badlyrn miss their children and grandchildren settled in foreign countries. Thern Family Head succeeds in making all of them meet in their native villagern to spend 2-3 weeks together. That's when, They realize what they have rnmissed all these years by running after money.
Village Backdrop, rnPerformances & Scenes laced with family emotions have been the rnstrength of 'Shatamanam Bhavati'. Even the Run Time of 140 minutes comesrn in handy. The role of Bangarraju done by Naresh will stand out.
Lovern Story & Humour dominate the First Half. A nice Twist in the rnInterval gives a feeling of watching a good movie. But, Second Half rnhasn't been dealt properly. Few unnecessary scenes, too much melodrama rnand lag in the narration bring discomfort to the audience. The film is rnback on track only in Climax. Prakash Raj creates a lasting impression rnwith his performance here. Overall, 'Shatamanam Bhavati' is a clean rnfamily entertainer which could make a decent watch.
