Nag's Heroine starts Mobile Business

Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra have been into various businesses. They were the co-owners of IPL Franchise Rajasthan Royals and also begun a tele-shopping channel few months ago. Now, The Celebrity Couple kickstarted a new business.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra jointly launched Viaan Mobiles which were named after their 3-Year-Old Son. These mobiles come in five variants, starting from a price tag of Rs 849 to a maximum of Rs 12,999.
The 'Azad' Heroine say the fact that India is the second-largest costumer of mobile phones and 2 crore mobiles were purchased every month motivated them to foray into this business. Shilpa adds, '80 percent of the market was captured by mobiles costing less than Rs 10,000 and hence we targeting that segment. Our target is to capture 2-3 percent of the market share, that's 5 lakh mobiles per month'.
Bollywood celebs Jeetendra, Malaika Arora Khan and Farah Khan have graced the launch ceremony. Viaan Mobiles is the first Indian phone brand to get a simultaneous launch in seven countries.
