'Venky Mama' Receives New Shock

Looks like nothing is favoring Rakul Preet Singh these days. On one side, she is tasting flops and on the other side, she is carrying a negative buzz on the social media for her recent outburst with a couple of netizens. Adding more to this, she now let a golden opportunity go off from her hands.
Rakul Preet Singh who was supposed to play the romantic interest of Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in the prestigious multi-starrer movie Venky Mama has decided to back off from the movie. With Rakul's exit, the makers initially considered Nabha Natesh as the heroine and are now planning to get Raashi Khanna on board. With Toli Prema, Raashi introduced the performer in her which paved way for the filmmakers to think of her for some matured roles.
Venkatesh is also a part of the project. Earlier, Shriya Saran was considered as the heroine for the film but the makers finally settled down to Payal Rajput. These sudden exits of Rakul and Shriya are unexpected and the reasons for the same are not disclosed to the media.
The grapevine in the industry is that Chay himself suggested Raashi for the movie and a formal confirmation on her inclusion will be out soon. Directed by KS Ravindra, the movie is presented by Suresh Babu. Peoples Media Factory is producing the film.
